Incoming text message at 10.46pm tonight, London time:
"We're engaged! Liam proposed this evening with a haribo ring after totally surprising me in london. I'm very happy & have had a wonderful evening... Helen x"
Needless to say I am happy for them!
(And for myself. I discovered today that it is possible to send text messages from the UK to the USA, so now I keep in touch with Jennifer in yet another way. Great day!)
